Relax and Eat Bread is a start up business by Sonoma based couple, Ian Conover and Tara Williams.
We make our bread in small batches, it is naturally leavened using a long fermentation process to guarantee taste and texture.
We believe bread is a daily essential and should be made of the highest quality ingredients, handmade and fresh.
We want you to simply RELAX and EAT BREAD.
Ian Conover is a San Francisco native. From a young age his mother taught him how to bake with sourdough using her 20 year old starter. In 2016 Ian decided to leave his career in the cycling industry to go to culinary school at Santa Rosa Junior College. Now baking in Sonoma, you might spot Ian delivering fresh bread on his green bicycle to your friends and neighbors.
Ian's favorite bread is the Caraway Rye with a smear of maple butter.
Tara Williams is a Sonoma County native. Tara left the corporate life in San Francisco to move back to her native Sonoma County to become an elementary school teacher. She currently teaches full time in Sonoma and on her off hours she uses her experience in sales and customer service to keep things moving behind the scenes.
Tara's favorite bread is the Semolina Sourdough toasted and topped with a soft boiled egg.
